We celebrate that everyone is created in God’s image, and as followers of Jesus we welcome people of every age, ability, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, marital status, socio-economic situation, gender identity, and citizenship status as full participants in the life of our congregation.

The Book of James

James, sometimes called the ‘wisdom book’ of the New Testament, was written to communities scattered around the Mediterranean. Sheila Klassen-Wiebe writes in her introduction to James in the Anabaptist Bible: "The message of James for the church is straight-forward: faith in Jesus the Messiah must be evident in how one lives."
